My Story, My Path

WHERE PURPOSE TOOK ROOT

I started this journey over five years ago without a clear direction, just a need to create and a quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, it could lead somewhere meaningful. I never imagined it would become this.

The path wasn't straight or easy. It was shaped by loss, pivots, and the kind of growth that only comes when you give yourself permission to begin again.

I've been overwhelmed by tech. I've questioned my ideas. I've wondered if I was too late to figure this out.

And that's exactly why I created The Tarnished Daisy, to help other creative women untangle the chaos, reconnect with their creativity, and build something meaningful at their own pace.

After losing my husband of thirty-two years, I was suddenly facing a blank page I never expected. I didn't feel broken, but I did feel... changed. Worn in places. A little weathered. Tarnished... but not done.

The daisy has always meant renewal to me...growth, resilience, and blooming again, even in unlikely places. Together, The Tarnished Daisy holds both truths: the marks life leaves on us, and the quiet courage to start again anyway.

When I first started designing for my laser, I was overwhelmed by the pressure to make products that not only looked good but sold well, photographed beautifully, and fit my brand. I spent way too much time tweaking files that were never built with production in mind.
